|Martin K. Morrissey
Martin Morrissey was born September 25, 1959 in Rock Island, Illinois. He graduated from Alleman High School in Rock Island, then obtained his undergraduate education at the University of Illinois. While attending the University he studied for one year in Europe pursuant to the University Foreign Exchange Program. He received his B.A. degree in 1982, magna cum laude, his J.D. from Southern Illinois University in 1985.
He achieved partnership at Reed, Armstrong in 1992. He has tried over eighty civil jury trials. For a period of seven years, from 1988 through 1995 he successfully defended to verdict twenty-seven consecutive jury cases, nineteen of which constituted not guilty verdicts.
He has been married to Kit for thirty years and they have two children.
